Here are some helpful websites. Please go this route before you spend
alot of money on bug devices. I speak from experience and they are not
helpful. The first thing I would get is a portable viedo jammer. If you
go to google it will give you several listing. Type in wireless jammer.
Here some other helpful websites that your enemy may be using to keep
track of your every move.
www.followus.com is a website that will provide your location with just
a cell phone number or just go to google and type in track cell phone.
www.netdetective will give you the scoop on anyone.
www.1stat-gps-tracking.com/ will provide your location 24 hrs a day,
once this device is place on your car in a hidden place. It really
depends on what type of device it is because it will also allow the
eavesdropper to do survelliance also. Let me keep it simple, they don't
have come in your house. The eavesdropper can just use a gps tracking
device to perform electronic harrassment and view everything about life
while you are in your car, shopping, what restarant you like to eat at,
whereever you go, friends, family, it doesn't matter it is at full view
for your enemy and their friends,and not mention your phone
conversation, they can hace full view of the inside of your house
online and it does not matter what room you are in, and yes the camera
they use today are xray and at it doesn't make any difference if you
have the lights off. Please keep in mind that there are different types
of bugs, gps devices, phone bugs, wireless camera before you spend alot
of money to get a bugsweep. I personally, think that the bug stuff is
just a big rip off. If you go to google and type in gps tracking, and
different types of phone bugs. you will also find websites about this
devices.
www.zabasearch.com/ will allow you to locate anyone. If you can get the
physical address, then there is a high chance that you can get their
email address and this is where the hard part is getting the evidence.
Alan, you are rigth you will get into trouble for breaking into another
person's home. So, the next thing to do if you have the available funds
and know who the individual is that is attacking you in any kind of
way. Take the time to get all of his or her information. If you can
locate a email address, that is the beginning of a case. Because all
computers keeps information, even after you delete it and that is what
you need. The next step is to hired someone to get the possible
information legally if you know who your suspect migth be. It took me
forever, to get this information. Because of electronic harrassment,
lies and severe damage to my reputation, lost of jobs, friends, love
ones. I am sending this information to share with anyone who is a
victim and whatever you do, do not give up. Figth back and as long as
we help each other we will get through this. I am in financial crisis,
due to this cruel game, emotionally mad, and yes, I am tired. I also
deal with this issue alone at this time because it hard to get people
to believe you. Especially, your family without the evidence. It's hard
to prove, keep a cool head, get as much information that you can. I
have a GOD. and I believe he let this happen to me for a reason, even
if it is to help other people. I'm not scare, I'm not worry, and don't
you be because this is what they want. I just want anyone that has a
hatred heart to do this type of crime to another human being to be put
away. Just keep letting them play their sick game because sooner or
later. It will somehow come to front, in the open because evil cannot
last forever the end must come. I don't know how but it will and may
take a few people like us to make a change before it happens. Keep
sharing your information and keep letting people know even if they
think you are crazy atleast someone knows. Remember this, not one us
should the object of another person's sick game. The last time I check,
I don't recall being anyone's toy. If I have to live my every waking
moment, to get my life back or just to help someone with the same
problem, then this is what I will do. It's wrong and it is not even
human to want to do this to another person.. ..........countermeasure

and the only device, that I could come up with is the wireless portable

There are a number of methods to bug your house. Transmitters,
recorders, and outright bugs.

What I have seen done is the use of a small handheld am-fm radio and a
music source. But that only works if the signal is transmitted. Most of
the inexpensive transmitters use either am or fm on the same frequency
spectrum that you can find on the small radio. That's why you don't use
a separate radio, because some stations transmit on multiple
frequencies, whether intentional or not. If you are scanning through
the frequencies and find the music or whatever playing on the air,
you've located the frequency of the transmitter. You then walk around
to locate where you get the strongest signal, and that tells you where
the bug is.

If possible, get one of the older radio scanners. Those get frequencies
your handheld radio won't cover, thus increasing your chances of
finding a transmitter.

Unfortunately thee are a multitude of bugs that could be used. Some use
voice vibration through walls. This one is what it sounds like you
have. No way to find that, though if you have an approximate location,
you can take a small cheap speaker headset, remove the foam ear pieces,
and tape the speakers to the wall. Then play at low volume whatever you
want. Low enough that you can barely hear it, though a vibration bug can.

Look around your place and check for anything that isn't yours or
doesn't look familar. Especially in the bathroom, near the phone, near
the sitting area, near lamps and pictures, etc. If you find anything,
take note of where it is.

Check around your place and look for anything on the walls or ceiling
that you don't recognize. Like holes or off-color dimples that you
don't remember seeing before. If possible get a "blacklight", or
Ultraviolet light and turn it on. The UV light will change the colors
of everything in the room, and very very rarely can they insert or add
anything to the walls or ceiling and have it match the paint or wall
paper exactly. The UV light will detect the difference. This method
finds stuff like camera lens. With today's technology, it's amazing
what they can put in there. If you find anything, take note of what it
is and where and then put a piece of masking or electrical tape over
it. That makes it unusable.

Don't know if those can help you, but it's something. I covered the two
most likely bugs you could be dealing with along with actual physically
intrusive devices.

But if you find something, notify your landlord and the police
immediately and file a report. You should then have the proof to back
your side of the story.
